The Story Goes On…
In the last movie, the titans started moving to the skull island. Kong is already there for a long time. Now the Titans and Kong will have to co-exist on the skull island, and that is going to be a hard task. The movie synopsis mentions, “As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.”
The two had fought against each other before, and there was no clear winner. So Wingard is making sure that there is a winner in this final movie of the Monsterverse. He said, “The original film was very fun, but you feel a little let down that the movie doesn’t take a definitive stance. People are still debating now who won in that original movie, you know. So, I do want people to walk away from this film feeling like, Okay, there is a winner.”
A leaked cellphone video from CCXP in São Paulo gives an accurate, albeit blurry, first look at Godzilla vs. Kong. It gives some glimpses at Kong’s size, and he looked almost the same height as Godzilla.
