Rick and Morty are back with a bang in Season 4, where new season means new and more adventures into the sprawling universe. Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have changed the character trait of one of the favorite characters of the audience.
Morty is the character that has worn the mask and is now in dark shadows as he is the cause of Schwifty’s grandpa’s death. But as always, he is rescued by Rick because he still has a plan. But what is unseen by Rick is that one of his allies from the past has now become a foe. Thus, stabbing and havoc would be involved in episode one.
What to expect from Season 4:
This is exciting for the fans as they are thrilled to see the show is back. But fans were worried as they did not want another false alarm for the season, to which the team assured that it wouldn’t happen again. Harmon explained, “I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons 3 and 4 will be the longest and last time that it’s ever so long that it’s ridiculous,”
As the show has been as mysterious as Sherlock since season one, it is nothing new that season 4 won’t be keeping the same regularity, constancy, and flow. The whole idea of Morty stealing the Death Crystals is the core of this season, the crystals dot exactly kill people, but they show you how you are going to die. So this is very exciting for them to steal as they would be able to see the possibility of the future. They decide to sell these crystals to the more affluent families and get money from them in exchange. Tactlessly, Morty can get a glimpse of the future where Jessica is with him when he dies, and this makes Rick think of his death too, that when he dies, will the girl he likes will be with him or not.
