When I binged the Netflix Original series ‘Sex Education,’ I was engaged with it so much that I watched the whole series within a day. This teen comedy series received humongous love from the audience all over the world, and the best part of this series is the bond of friendship shared by Otis and Eric, all who have watched ‘Sex Education’ have loved their chemistry.
Now, here’s a piece of good news for all the fans who loved the first season and are eagerly waiting for the next one. So hold on, there’s speculation buzzing around for a while that the season 2 of ‘Sex Education’ might release at the beginning of next year. So far now, there has been no official announcement made by the Netflix team or the makers of this series.
Season 1 was released in January 2019, so it is being speculated that the next season will also drop down in January. However, this seems to be a wild guess but yet who knows it can turn out to be perfect. As of now, it remains to be seen, but these assumptions have got every fan excited.
For the unaware, ‘Sex Education’ revolved around a high school student Otis who is quite inexperienced when it comes to the lovemaking department, but he has useful guidance on the topic in his personal sex-ed course as he lives with his mom Jean, who is a sex therapist. Resulting in which Otis has become a reluctant expert on the subject.
When his friends get to know about his home life, Otis decides to use his in-depth knowledge to improve his status at school, so he teams up with Maeve to set up an underground sex therapy clinic to deal with their classmates’ problems. But as the story unfolds further, Otis realizes that he may need some therapy of his own.
So this was a small synopsis to the first season if you haven’t seen it yet. Binge-watch before season 2 arrives, hopefully, you will love it. Season 1 of ‘Sex Education’ starred Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, Gillian Anderson, and Ncuti Gatwa. It consisted of eight episodes in total and is truly an entertaining series you can’t miss.
