What are we going to experience this season?
Peter Morgan, the showrunner of The Crown, has reported that 3rd and the 4th series will cover the years 1964-77 in the life of Queen Elizabeth II. He revealed that the new show would focus not only on the queen but the relationship between her and price Philip. Charles and Camilla will be in focus for the coming season, according to the report.
Peter Morgan, the creator, and writer of The Crown, showcased this season from a different angle in which, Philip absorbs the heroism of all the men. He also revealed that this season would include the coronation of the Prince of Wales that happened in the year 1969.
Morgan also added that people think Charles cheated on Diana with Camilla, but the showrunner confessed that the prince was always in love with Camilla and was forced to marry Diana. This will be the prime focus in season three.
Is there is any changes in the cast?
Reports are that this season is going to have few changes in the casting crew. Olivia Colman is the new queen, replacing Claire Foy. She confessed that the role is tough to play, and she was surprised when her agent told her about the news. Tobias Menzies will be playing Prince Philip and Helena Bonham for the role of Princess Margaret.

The idea of storytelling the life of Queen Elizabeth and the royal family is to divide the show into six different seasons with ten episodes each. And changing the cast after the 2nd season and then again in the fourth season. Since this is season three, the makers of the show are resetting the cast.
