It is all good in the hood until you are asked to feel something romantic for your ex again. But it’s not impossible, and if it is on-screen. Yea! It is possible!
Thanks to Joey King, who plays the role of Elle Evans in Netflix’s original The Kissing Booth for breaking a myth that only made people think they’re weak if put in a position like that with their ex. She is working on the sequel the movie, The Kissing booth 2 with her ex Jacob Elordi, who plays the role of Noah Flynn in the original and the sequel as her love interest. Joey claims that the experience of having to work on the sequel of a storyline and character she truly feels about was definitely ‘Worth it.’
On Wednesday (October 30), the actress was a guest on the podcast “Mood with Lauren Elizabeth.” It was there that King expressed her excitement about the project that she always felt really passionate about and urged the viewers and fans to have a fresh perspective about the fact that something in anyone’s personal life should not ever create any hindrance in the future of their professional life as it is about experiences and learnings that develop us as, both a balanced person and a focussed professional.
She took the opportunity to also gush over the fact that she got to work with Joel Courtney and that it was an incredible experience as a whole to relive on the set. It is honestly great to see such public figures who have such an impact on today’s generation to talk about such matters to help their fan base deal better with their problems.
One thing I loved about her interview was when she said, “It was a wild experience, but honestly, it was a wonderful time because I learned a lot about myself and I grew as an actor, I grew as a person.”
