This week marks a big occasion in TV history, as it has been an entire quarter of a century since Friends 1st born on NBC – might we have a tendency to BE any older?
To mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the sitcom’s premiere, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc all expressed touching tributes with a throwback pic to their millions of followers on Instagram.
All four stars kickstarted their messages by writing, “Celebrating a thursday night twenty-five years ago,” with Schwimmer (aka Ross) occurring to mention, “THANK YOU to all the fans out there!! we have could not have done it without you,” before hashtagging the remainder of his co-stars.
‘Smelly Cat’ singer Kudrow mentioned: “We could be in different places however we are connected,” whereas Joey star LeBlanc wrote: “Seems like yesterday. Thanks to all the fans for watching.”
Monica favourite Cox thanked all of the true Friends fans across the world: “You’ve definitely been there for us.” She conjointly took a friendly swipe at Jennifer Aniston and Matthew Perry (who seem to be a little bit behind on their Instagram game), posting the hashtags: “#seriouslyjen?” and “#youtoomatthew”.
